Our Mission and Vision: Baith ul Zahra is dedicated to fostering the early development and learning of our children through the teachings of the Quran and Ahlulbayth (AS), while preserving our cultural traditions, language, and quality of life.
We are dedicated to instilling Islamic rights from an early age, including the rights of Allah, self, people, and nature. Recognizing that a child’s personality begins forming in the womb, we support mothers, families, and children in building a foundation rooted in Islamic values, cultural preservation, and lifelong learning.
Founded in 2008 by Zahra Jag, an Afghan Hazara Shia refugee, Al Zahra Association was established to create a space for belonging, growth, and settlement for families in Australia. By merging faith with the teachings of the Quran and Ahlulbayt, the organization offers programs in Islamic education, health, sports, and peer support, fostering a faithful and progressive community.
Al Zahra focuses on empowering individuals and supporting community organizations by providing resources and fostering collaboration. Through inclusive initiatives, we aim to build self-reliance, strengthen future generations, and integrate with diverse cultures, enhancing the community’s overall well-being.
The early years are critical for shaping a child’s cognitive, emotional, and social development. Engaging in stimulating activities and creating a nurturing environment fosters curiosity, resilience, and confidence, laying the foundation for lifelong learning and adaptability. Parents play a crucial role in this transformative phase.
